The BohoHemp Range
BohoHemp is very excited to introduce the new range of stylish, urban, hemp clothing from their Spring/Summer collection 2013. We believe our friends at Uprise and Nomads just get better and better at designing and creating hemp fashion. And this season, we are very happy to include a new brand from Canada called Mehadevi designs. Did you know that Mehadevi means Great Goddess in Sanskrit? Nothing less for our BohoHempsitas!
Emma’s collection favourites from Uprise
I have to say Uprise has expanded their range somewhat this season and as I’m selecting the BohoHemp range, the added advantage is that I get first pickings! I just love their summer dresses this season, the Fairy Dress and the Tuniqy are my faves by far and I will definitely be wearing these at the festivals this year.
Also the Relaxy Pants look so comfortable, versatile and easy to wear. You can lounge about the home in them, go out casual to the pub or even wear on the beach after a long hard day in the sun. Can you tell I am craving some sunshine?!
For the guys, we have the best range of shorts and more unique design retro t-shirts with sun, Uprise, and surfing logos and of course the classic Hood-He in Port Red and Blue Moon.
Emma’s collection favourites from Nomads
Nomads have their own unique style which I feel brings together classic urban design and eco chic. So many favourites for this season, my top 3 picks are the Renaissance Blouse, Strive Shorts (great worn together and so practical) and the Lilly Skirt which can be worn over leggings or without leggings – however you dress it up it looks stunning.
The Nomads range of tops are amazing and with the warmer days coming you will always need a fabulous Tee to wear whether you are on the beach, in the city or staycationting!
Whatever your plans, I hope you enjoy this season’s range of BohoHemp Clothing
The Brands
Uprise is a clothing brand from Leuven, Belgium dedicated to conscious hemp wear. Their collection consists of simple urban designs made from eco-friendly fibres like hemp and organic cotton.
Uprise started out Fall 2010 with their own line of hemp hoodies. The line became such a success, they decided to expand.
Uprise works only with gots certificated organic cotton & is members of the fwf (fair wear foundation)
all dying is done by ôko tex regulation. there is a use of a synthetic fixation, without the colours would disappear after washing. This chemical fixation is non toxic for both waist water & for humans skin. The ôko tex regulation allows this, as there is no option to keep the colour after washing.
Nomads started out from the back of a VW campervan with just a few rolls of fabric and a sewing machine.
Nomads has now been trading for over 10 years and they produce a variety of stretch textiles ranging from soft, durable hemp fabrics to organic cotton, soy and bamboo fabrics that are unique to their brand.
Nomads take pride in employing fair labour in the construction of all their garments.

The co-founders of Mehadevi designs, Freya Skye and Jules Marie Emmerson, joined together to form their eco fashion label in 2007.
They started off touring the summer festivals in veg powered vehicles and selling dancewear at dance events. Within six years, they now supply retail outlets in Canada, USA, Germany, Costa Rica, and Australia. Their designs are inspired by patterns in nature and harness the goddess energy (hence the name).
